Residence Permit Renewals Now Available Online
Good news for third-country nationals residing in Cyprus.
Residence permit renewals can now be completed online through the new Cyprus Government digital platform, making the renewal process faster and more convenient.
Eligible applicants can:
- Submit their renewal application online
- Upload all required supporting documents
- Pay the applicable government fees electronically
- Track the progress of their application in real time
Employers and authorised representatives can also submit renewal applications on behalf of eligible applicants.
Please note that this service is only available for residence permit renewals. It does not apply to first-time residence permit applications, which must still be submitted through the existing application process.
Where required, applicants will still need to attend an appointment in person for biometric data collection (photograph and fingerprints) and signature verification.
This new digital service is designed to simplify the renewal process, reduce paperwork, and improve processing efficiency for eligible residents.
