Proposals for the long-awaited Paphos Marina in Kissonerga are being submitted throughout January, with a deadline of January 23. The tender process is expected to become clearer within the month, with bid evaluations scheduled for March, followed by shortlisting and progression to the next phase.
The project offers two development options: a 1,000-berth leisure marina with mixed residential, commercial, and hotel development, or the same marina combined with a dedicated cruise ship berth. The concession will be granted under a 55-year lease, covering approximately 166,000 sq.m.
Launched by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism in September 2025, the tender follows years of legal and technical delays. Negotiations are expected in May, with the concession award planned for late 2026. Construction is currently projected to begin in April 2027.
